New course on South Asian History and Culture
The Athens Center for Indian and Indo-Hellenic Studies is launching a new course on the history and culture of South Asia with the aim to provide its students with a better understanding of the history of the Indian subcontinent, its people, and its culture.
The first seminar entitled “South Asia and Hellenism in a Changing World” begins on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. and will conclude in four weekly lectures.

The lectures are held online via ZOOM by Indologist Professor Dimitrios Vassiliadis. Guest speaker Professor Vasilios Syros, historian of political thought (Byzantium and Medieval India).
