Pie cutting and Symposium of the Athens Center for Indian and Indο-Hellenic Studies

Students and teachers from the departments of Hindi, Sanskrit and Indian Philosophy gathered from different parts of Greece and had the opportunity to get to know each other at the symposium organized by the Athens Center for Indian & Indo-Hellenic Studies on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Indian restaurant Jaipur Palace (121 Syngrou Ave., Athens).

The theme of the symposium was “Indian Vegetarian Cuisine and the Right Nutrition” during which many and conflicting opinions were expressed from the ethical and scientific point of view. The discussion ended with the decision of the Center for Indian & Indo-Hellenic Studies to include in its courses a seminar on Indian Cuisine taught by Kula Rigas and Elena Karaiskou, two students of Hindi who work as professional Chefs in top hotels of Athens.

The President of ELINEPA Dr. Dimitrios Vassiliadis offers the prizes to the lucky winners of the lottery.

The prizes distributed in the lottery were offered by the publishing department of ELINEPA, the family of Maria Nicolaidis and Notis Bogatsas, and by Apostolos Kourtis, a producer of excellent wines from the region of Olympus (Kourtis Winery).
