EPHROSYNE (FROSO) BYZOVITOU
Froso Vizovitou is a teacher of English, and Hindi and a visual artist based in Thessaloniki. She has expressed herself in various fields such as writing, translation, theatre, photography, and traveling to India.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a master’s degree in Language Education for Refugees and Immigrants from EAP, with her thesis on the Indian myths Panchatantra and the Arabian Nights. She teaches Hindi A & B level and Indian culture. She has also translated Indian poetry.
She is a graduate with honors from the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, 1st Laboratory. She researches writing in Art and creates her own Gramatopia. She has had 6 solo and over 50 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
She is a member of SKETBE (Visual Arts Association of Northern Greece), an organizer of ELINEPA (Hellenic-Indian Society), and a member of TEPE (Art Department of Papageorgiou Hospital).
